We recommend that you follow the principles below when calculating the screen length, so that sufficient allowance is provided to ensure the installed screen is long enough and free from tension.

Screen Length Calculation Formula:
Greenhouse clear dimension + 1.5% allowance + overhang = final length to order (meters)

Sufficient extra length is critical for proper installation. Please remember: excess length can be trimmed later, but insufficient length cannot be added.

Example:
A greenhouse has 5 trusses, each 8.00 meters long:

5 × 8.00 m = 40.00 m
− (0.10 m + 0.10 m) = 39.80 m
+ 1.5% = 40.40 meters

(Subtract 0.10 m from each end, as the end wires are typically 0.10 m from the side walls.)
